COMPONENTS OF A HRIS (HUMAN RESOURCE INFORMATION SYSTEM)

HRIS stands for Human Resources Information System. This system is used to collect and store data on a company’s employees. HRIS encompasses the basic functionalities needed for end-to-end Human Resources Management (HRM). It is a system for recruitment, performance management, learning and development, etc. This system can either run on the company’s own technical infrastructure or be cloud-based. This means that the HR software is running outside of the company’s premises, making it much easier to update [aihr.com, 2021].

 Conclusion

HRIS is a single system that can do all the HRM-related work more effectively with fewer errors. This helps to minimize the work force that is allocated to monitoring separately when this system is not implemented in an organization. There may be some bugs in the system, but those can be corrected in regular updates. Proper training and guidance are needed to handle this system effectively.
