Feedback is something, needed in
a work place to evaluate one’s performance. Mostly many companies evaluate
their employee’s performances via feedbacks at least once in a year. Feedbacks
are not only to evaluate the employees’ performances but to evaluate the
company as well, as the feedbacks will make effects in the company’s wellbeing.
Feedbacks can be positive and negative, but both feedbacks should be welcome to
find the shortfalls and fulfillments in a company.

Elements of effective feedback
Timeliness:- The most effective feedback is given when it is given when it is needed. Provide comments as soon as the team member is able to take action to improve, preferably right after the event.
Communicative:- Feedback that promotes a collaborative environment. Unlike written feedback, conversational feedback allows team members to raise questions and clarify issues.
Effective:- feedback is helpful and provides positive solutions. Only constructive criticism should be directed at actions or tasks that can be improved.
Specific:- feedback is critical so that team members are aware of their own strengths and weaknesses. This enables them to hone specialized abilities.
Detailed:- Giving specifics with feedback might assist team members gain a better understanding of where they can improve. Provide specific information about upcoming events and tasks.

Advantage of Positive feedbacks
It helps employers discover their employees’ specific skills and assign them to the departments in which they'll excel the most[bizfluent.com, 2021].
- It lets employees know where they need to build upon their skills and motivates them.
- It also helps build a rapport between business owners and employees since they often don’t have time to engage in extended conversations with one another.
Disadvantage of Positive feedbacks
Positive feedback that points out areas where an employee can improve; might reduce employees’ morale and motivation[bizfluent.com, 2021].
- The employer must prepare, conduct and share the feedback with employees, which can lower productivity.
- Feedback might not always be accurate, false feedbacks also can be documented, so can end up evaluating the employees unfairly.
Negative feedbacks
Advantage of Negative feedbacks
- It improves productivity and work relationships.
- Issues can be resolved immediately.
- Lead to the success of the company.
- No discrimination is maintained in the feedback.

Therefore, guide the employees to change their negative perspective on feedback

Feedback improves morale and also teaches us more about ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, our behaviors, and how our actions affect others. It also improves our self-awareness and promotes self-improvement. Good Thoughts share here ,

DeleteIn any form constrictive and proactive feedback always assist employees to work on and adjust in meeting ultimate objectives. Very important to understand the capacity of the individual when providing particularly negative areas of improvement required, when extending feedback for them to be effective.

In two way communication feedback are very important for future improvement for individuals as well as organization. Whether the feedback is positive or negative, it should always be effective and constructive. Otherwise, there will be risk of an employees leaving the company, feeling criticized, demotivated, and disengaged. Valuable thoughts and good article.
